Track 2: Implementing Inter-Tribal Trade & Commerce Contracts

This track will focus on implementing the use of native products in the tribe’s existing businesses. Attendees will be shown what products are being purchased and how much products are being purchased from non-native vendors. Participants will be presented with featured products that can be utilized in their hotels and casinos as well as other departments. Attendees will be encouraged to implement a minimal percentage rate of their products to be purchased from native vendors. Attendees will receive a resolution template to be taken to their tribal councils that will mandate the purchase of 10% of the tribal business’ goods and services through native vendors.
